MALZ  is a craftbeer bar in the center of Leuven, our flagship. With our 12 beers on draft & a selection of over 300 beers in bottles & cans we're one of the beer hotspots the city has to offer. 

MALZ  received the silver medal in 2022, the gold medal in 2023 & the bronze medal in 2024 in the category "best beer bar in Belgium" at the Beer Awards Digital Festival.

The focus of  MALZ  is craftbeer from all over the world: small & independent breweries making their own beers. We've got the largest selection of fine ciders & meads in town.

 

We showcase local beers from Brouwerij De Coureur and Man & Brouw on draft & regularly have Brouwerij De Vlier, Brouwerij De Schuur,  La Vignette, Hof ten Dormaal & Dorpsbrouwerij Bierbeek in bottle.

Try our meats & cheeses together with your beer. They're all locally produced & selected to pair with a variety of beer styles.

In a hurry? No time to stay & enjoy a beer? No worries? Every beer in our fridges & on our shelves is ready for you to take-away. We'll even throw a take-away discount on top of it: -25% on all bottles/cans & -10% on larger bottles  (375ml & 750ml).
