We only accept reservations for groups of 8 or more people.
We welcome smaller groups to just come by & grab a table. During busy moments, mostly on friday evenings, we help you as best as possible. You might have to wait at the bar for the first drink.
Due to the smaller living room vibe of MALZ, reservations for groups larger than 15 people are not possible.
GUIDED TASTINGS.

Tastings are available for groups from 8 to 16 people & can be organized during weekdays between 10h & 22h.
Tastings are available in Dutch & English.
During such a tasting we serve you four different beers (15cl), accompanied by a small bite. We walk through the entire beer landscape in two hours, jump from style to style & combine flavors with each other.
This beer & food tasting costs €36 p.p.
You can also opt for a tasting without the bites - €24 p.p.
Depending on availability your guided tasting will take place at MALZ or at KIOSK.
PRIVATE VENUE.
KIOSK is perfect for small gatherings. Located in one of the shopping streets of Leuven, KIOSK has room for 30 people in a reception formula with drinks buffet. When the weather is good, our outdoor space is available as well & you can invite up until 40 people to your party.
KIOSK is not suited for seated events above 15 people.
You're renting KIOSK for a three hour period. You can schedule that part of the day however you like between 10h & 22h.
A party in KIOSK will cost €300. Included is 1) the rent of the venue, 2) beer budget of €120 & 3) staff serving your guests at the counter.
You don't have to worry about cleaning up afterwards either. Would you like to book an extra hour? Then you pay €60 per hour.
EXTRA SERVICE:
KIOSK is happy to offer a selection of small bites for your guests to enjoy, in three formulas (although combinations are possible as well).
> olives & pistachios (€3 p.p.)
> crackers & two veggie dips (€7 p.p.)
> fresh goats cheese, sun-dried tomatoes & crackers (€10 p.p.)
MALZ is ideal for bigger parties. With room for 40 people (seated) & 60 people (standing event), we're more than happy to host your wedding reception, baby shower, phd graduation party, etc.
When the weather is good, our terrace is also available (with an additional maximum capacity of 40 seats). Parties can't exceed the limit of 80 people when combining inside & outside spaces.
You're renting MALZ for a half-day of five hours. You can schedule that part of the day however you like between 11h & midnight. On sundays this is possible between 11h & 22h.
MALZ is not available on fridays.
A party in MALZ will cost €500. Included is 1) the rent of the venue, 2) beer budget of €200 & 3) staff serving your guests at the counter.
You don't have to worry about cleaning up afterwards either. Would you like to book an extra hour? Then you pay €60 per hour.
EXTRA SERVICE:
MALZ is happy to offer a selection of cheeses & meats
in two formulas:
> as small bites (€7,5 p.p.)
> as a bread meal (€20 p.p.) with sourdough from a local bakery
For a more extensive range of bites or walking dinners, I work together with a few befriended caterers. We will provide more information about this during an initial meeting.
